Fashion journalism is an exciting and face paced career, which can take you not only around the world, but provide you with access to some of the most exclusive designers, fashion elite and celebrities.

The Australian Institute of Creative Design is offering this fashion journalism course to teach you all the required skills to become successful in this exciting industry.

The AICD trainers for this course all have extensive experience in the industry and many are still currently working in the industry. THis give students the abiliyt to learn from our trainer's real life experience, knowledge and industry networks and contacts.

Students will partake in both practical and theoretical projects and tasks to deomonstrate their abilities and begin their industry porfolios.

Throughout this course, you will learn:

• How to start a fashion blog or online fashion magazine
• How to create, maintain and write a blog
• How to write fashion reviews and articles
• How to conduct an interview and translate it into an article
• How to source interesting content
• Reporting fashion shows
• Headlines, introductions and captions
• Writing to a brief
• Writing for different target audiences
• Styling for the media
• How to source and create your own industry contacts and networks
• The basics of layouts
• Building your portfolio of work

During the course students will organise and style their own fashion shoot and will write an accompanying article, for their portfolios by the completion of this course.

Price:

$850.00. A $200.00 minimum non-refundable deposit is required to enrol and secure a position in the course. The balance of the course fees is due on the course commencement date.
